  • Shouting Match At The Shelter

This is an update to the Post Housing Voucher 092526 Edition post

So I got back home at about 5:40pm. I’m usually home later than that but on this day, I had a QCC Zoom class at 6pm plus, I wanted to check with the housing lady to see if she had submitted the documents HRA had requested—a lease letter, a signed lease and the “DSS” form, so they could process rent payment for my new apartment.

On Thursday morning (09/25/25) on my way to work, I had spoken to my case manager and asked him to have the housing specialist take care of this before I came back from work. She was not on her office that morning when I was leaving for work. It is HER JOB to do this, you know, like HRA PAYS her a good salary to do this. Remember that, it’s gonna come in handy.

So I get back home from work at about 5:40 pm and immediately went to the case manager’s office. I missed him. Apparently, he had left at 5:30pm that day. Luckily, the housing specialist was in his office. Coincidence?😳

So I got straight to the point—usually I do some old school bs’ing before I get to the point but on this Thursday I got straight to business—“Did you get my message I left with my case manager this morning?” First she said he hadn’t told her anything, but then later in the conversation she said “the document” (requesting the lease etc) didn’t apply to her—so evidently she had had a conversation with my case manager.

I told her she needs to submit the documents so they can process payment for my apartment. I even went further and told her she should have submitted them to HRA right after I signed the lease on 08/26/25. Remember, I’m telling her this because HRA has requested these documents, she works for HRA, and it’s HER JOB HER JOB HER JOB to do this. She’s not doing me a friendly favor. She gets paid to do that.🤔

Believe it or not, she REFUSED to do it—something about that document FROM HRA, didn’t apply to her, and some other nonsense. That’s when sh@t hit the fan. Let’s just say, this TI had had enough. I lost my “gentleman & scholar” demeanor and went all in.😂I told her it’s not for me to BEG her to do her job and that if she didn’t want to do it, HRA needed to bring in a new housing specialist to help him. Things got really loud, so the security staff started filing in. Of course in situations like that a TI will always lose, so I smartly walked away after telling her what I needed her to hear, in front of the security folks. They write incident reports, and I hope they  did one yesterday because it will come in handy in court🤔. This TI’s always on some 3D chess🤔

Oh, and btw, believe it or not, this is a very common occurrence for targeted individuals. I will not be surprised if this housing specialist was assigned to me JUST FIR THAT. Gum up the works for a targeted individual 24/7—all part of you know what.🤔

Stay tuned, folks, for some possible shelter drama this evening. You know it’s going down from here on out—till I move to the new apartment.😂

  • Post Housing Voucher Drama—091525 Update

If you’ve been keeping up with my Post Housing Voucher Drama posts, you’ll realize that we’re are in the final phases of CityFHEPS housing voucher ordeal because I signed a lease for an apartment on 08/26/25.

My understanding after signing that lease on 08/26/25, was that my CityFHEPS paperwork would be submitted to the city, and if there were any issues/fluctuations in my weekly pay, the city would kick back my paperwork so we can do “rebudgeting” and then resubmit the paperwork

The important thing to remember is that the representation from housing specialist at the facility where I live, was that she DID submit my paperwork. As a matter of fact last week, on my Monday off (09/08/25), I checked with her on this specific issue—whether my paperwork had been submitted to the city—and she said yes. She did however tell me that she thinks my application would be kicked back, and that I needed to submit my 4 recent paystubs so we can do rebudgeting.

So Monday 09/15/25 comes around, and I decide to swing by her office to see whether my application had been kicked back for rebudgeting, right? Guess what she tells me this time? That she hasn’t submitted my paperwork since I signed the lease because I hadn’t given her the paystubs. Can you believe that?😳

Her story just shifted on a dime, from I submitted your paperwork but we may have to do rebudgeting to I’ve NEVER submitted your paperwork.

See what TIs go through? Mfs just playing around with you.😂All this time I’ve been sitting here thinking my CityFHEPS paperwork was submitted right after I signed the lease on 08/26 but nope, the Deep State has just been sitting here running down the clock—and then trying to pin the blame on me.

Obviously if she told me the paystubs were required BEFORE my paperwork was submitted, I would have given them to her on 08/26. She told me the she submitted my paperwork, but we MAY need rebudgeting.

Now it’s my word against hers—you know, the good ol’ plausible deniability. If you know, you KNOW who specializes in that tactic. The important thing is she’s EXTENDED the clock by 20 days.🤔

Anyway today I stepped out of my “gentleman & a scholar” mode and let her know I don’t want to play games anymore. I pulled a Karen move,😂and asked to speak to her boss—and she DID come and talk to me.😳

She assured me that she’ll make sure the rebudgeting happens today 09/15/25. Remember that, because I’m sure we’ll come back here a week after today to find out “Oh, we couldn’t do the rebudgeting because you needed to submit the 4 paystubs and…”😂🖕

I know you are bound to ask, why would they subject somebody to all this back and forth over a CityFHEPS voucher, which is typically a SMOOTH process if you meet all the requirements? Good question, but you’ve obviously been sleeping through the previous lessons.😂. It makes PERFECT sense when you think about it with this, at the back of your mind.🤔

    Anyway, stay tuned, folks

  • Post Housing Voucher Drama—090925 Edition

As I stated in my previous post, I ended up re-signing a lease after the issues with me newly adult son were resolved. I had thought it was going to be an October lease but it was still the September lease I had earlier signed, with slight modifications made for my son.

That means I’m technically a resident there, and just awaiting approval from the CityFHEPS. The process is supposed to take 30 days, but it’s typically less than that.

So under ordinary circumstances I’d be moving into the new apartment in the 09/20 timeframe. But we all know how it goes when a targeted individual arrives on the scene. 20 days will be two years😂🤦‍♀️

Anyway, this time, like I may have mentioned earlier, we’re gonna do something different. I’ve put together a super tight lawsuit (80% chance of success—you have to read it). I’m not just going to sit there and waste away, waiting on HRA to move me into the apartment. I’m getting ready to file this suit this week and then—it will be a bitchfest after that.😂

I’ll bitch about this stuff so much—call my member of Congress, NY times, even the NY Governor’s office😂 Simply put, I’ll bitch about it so bad, somebody running interference at HRA is bound to get a call from one of the bigwigs. You’ll be surprised how much bitching helps/works. This project is so important—filing suit—that I’ve practically suspended school this week. All the focus is on getting the suit filed. After that, you’ll hear about it. Trust me on that😂

Also remember, a lot of the things they do to TIs are illegal, so they prefer the secrecy. When you bring attention to the issue, they knock it off🤔

And just the latest greatest example in “bitching helps”, is the case with QCC College. Remember I almost got locked out of school this Fall because of some $700 tuition charge for a class I never attended. NY State aid was supposed to cover that, but I really don’t know what kind of witchcraft is going on over there😂. Anyway, I bitched about the charges and they dropped them.🤔

Also remember, it’s a VERY GOOD suit, meaning I might actually score some much-needed $$ in the NYC. It’s not a long shirt by any stretch of the imagination. Boatloads of precedents. So…why not?😳 I may do so well, that I become some kind of housing activist in the NYC😳
